Judith Owen (Courgette)

Best known for being wife of Spinal Tap and Simpsons stalwart Harry Shearer, that should change with this album. The seeds of most of these songs were planted 10 years ago, with Alanis Morissette's mentor Glen Ballard, but have only now been fully developed. Her style is closest to forceful female singer-songwriters like Tori Amos or Nerina Pallot, but ther are some jazzy and folky undercurrents.
